Come join us on Monday, August 26, 2024, for our semesterly tour of the Ashburn campus!

We love being able to participate in the growth of future healthcare professionals!

This past spring, nursing tract students and faculty from the Governor's Academy of Health Sciences participated in an annual simulation event at VSTC. SNA leaders, Tabitha Northrup and Gabby Livingston, volunteered their time, along with the GW Simulation Team and Assistant Professor/Governor's Academy Nursing Course Director, Dr. Jennifer Walsh, to facilitate the event.

The academy has been designed through a collaborative effort between ACPS and The George Washington University, where students will have the opportunity to start a career pathway that leads to an associate's and/or bachelor's degree and career-related industry certifications. Students who successfully complete an academy pathway and meet program requirements will be offered guaranteed admissions to the GW School of Medicine and Health Sciences.
