Giraffe hunting often stir up emotions,but the necessity to sustainably utilize all species outweights emotion. This is a very old bull and has been breeding in the herd for over 8 years now. He had very few teeth left and would've very soon started to loose condition. He must've weighed close to 2 tons alive with slaughtered weight of 870kg.All the meat is utilized and will feed many families.Thank you for your contribution to our conservation efforts Alan.
